Last updated: 7 October 2026

Effective date: 1 September 2026 for this agreement as a whole. The changes made on 16 September 2026 are explained in Section 17, and one of them, the community rules in Section 9, takes effect on 30 September 2026. The store free trial described in Section 7 applies to trials started after version 2.2 was published.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Mana Cores Limited. By creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must accept these Terms and our health and fitness disclaimers before you can use certain features (including training programs generated by AI).

2. What Raava is, and what it is not

Raava is a tool for tracking what you do, and for general information about fitness, nutrition, supplements, body metrics, and, if you want it, menstrual cycle and activity tracking. It helps you record what you do and gives you general fitness and wellness information and suggestions, not advice tailored to you as an individual, produced by a combination of rule based algorithms and an assistive artificial intelligence model.

Raava is NOT, and does not provide:

  • medical, clinical, physiotherapy, dietetic, mental health, or other professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, or care;
  • a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, monitor, manage, or prevent any disease or health condition;
  • a substitute for consultation with a qualified physician, physiotherapist, registered dietitian, or other licensed professional;
  • a service that creates any relationship of doctor and patient, therapist and client, or any other professional relationship between you and Mana Cores Limited.

The information and suggestions in the App are for general educational and informational purposes only. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional with any questions about a medical condition, a fitness program, a diet, supplements, or medication. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read or received in the App.

3. The algorithms are general and can be wrong

You understand and agree that:

  • Outputs in the App (including training programs, recommended sets, reps, loads, calorie and macronutrient targets, food and nutrition label estimates, supplement timing suggestions, recovery and deload suggestions, and any other recommendation) are produced by automated algorithms and AI models that generate general estimates and information, not personalized professional advice.
  • These outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for you. AI and algorithmic systems make mistakes. You should treat all outputs as approximations and general suggestions, review and confirm them yourself, and use your own judgment.
  • You must not rely on any App output as a substitute for professional advice or for measured, verified values. Where the App asks you to confirm an value extracted or estimated by AI before saving it, doing so is your responsibility.
  • Mana Cores Limited does not warrant or guarantee any particular result, outcome, level of fitness, body composition, performance, or health benefit.

4. Health, fitness, and assumption of risk

Physical exercise carries inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury, aggravation of a condition you already have, cardiac events, and, in rare cases, death.

By using the App and any program, suggestion, or content in it, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You should consult a physician before beginning any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have any medical condition, are pregnant or postpartum, are taking medication, or have any concern about your ability to exercise safely.
  • You will complete any health screening questions truthfully, and you will obtain and attest to physician clearance where the App asks you to before using gated features.
  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with exercise and with using the App, and you are solely responsible for your own health, safety, and decisions.
  • You will stop exercising immediately and seek medical help if you experience pain, chest discomfort, dizziness, faintness, shortness of breath, or any other warning sign, and you will not push through such symptoms because of an App suggestion.
  • You will exercise within your own limits, use proper form and appropriate equipment, and adapt or ignore any suggestion that is not appropriate for you.

This Section is a material part of the bargain. The Service is provided in reliance on your acceptance of these risks.

5. Medical emergencies

The App is not designed for emergencies and does not contact emergency services. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency facility immediately.

6. Eligibility and accounts

  • Minimum age: You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. (18 is what the product enforces: a gate in onboarding and in Settings, plus two database CHECK constraints. It is a check rather than a complete gate, and the Privacy Policy sets out where it falls short.) We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.
  • Registration: You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
  • One person per account. Do not share your account or impersonate anyone.

7. Your free trial, subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

  • Your 7 day free trial. The App needs a subscription. New subscribers get the first 7 days free. You start the trial by choosing a plan in the App; the App Store or Google Play then asks you to confirm your payment method. Nothing is charged during those 7 days. When the trial ends, your subscription starts and the store charges the price of the plan you chose, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, and you keep full access until the trial ends either way. The store decides who is eligible for a trial, which is normally once per store account.
  • A reminder before you pay. If you allow notifications, the App reminds you at least a day before the last moment you can cancel without paying, which is 24 hours before your trial ends. In the two days before that moment the App also shows a notice with the time to cancel by and a link to your store's subscription settings.
  • Without a subscription. The App's features need an active subscription or trial. You always keep access to your subscription options and to the tools to export or permanently delete your data, so you can subscribe, take your data with you, or close your account.
  • Your data is not deleted when a subscription or trial ends. What you logged is retained in line with our Privacy Policy and is available to you again if you subscribe later. You can export or delete it at any time, whether or not you are subscribed.
  • Subscriptions are sold and billed through the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and/or our billing provider, and are subject to that store's terms in addition to these Terms.
  • Automatic renewal: Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the price current at that time for the same period unless you cancel before the end of the current period. The price, billing cycle, and renewal terms are disclosed at the point of purchase.
  • Founder pricing. If your account was created on or before 31 October 2026, or you enter a valid club code we have given to a sports club, you can subscribe at our Founder prices. While your Founder subscription keeps renewing, its price does not go up. If you cancel and subscribe again later, the Founder prices are still open to you. A club code works once per account, and we may limit how many times a code can be used or stop accepting it; that does not change the price for anyone who has already used it. This is a promise about price. It does not oblige us to keep offering the App, which Section 17 covers.
  • Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. When a paid subscription ends, access to the App ends with it, on the same terms as the end of the free trial above.
  • Refunds are handled according to the rules of the app store through which you purchased and applicable law. Except where required by law, payments are not refundable. A refund for a store purchase is issued by the store, not by us, because the store is who took the payment.
  • Your 14 day right to change your mind, if you are an EU or UK consumer. For a distance contract for digital content you normally have 14 days to withdraw, without giving a reason. You can give that right up by asking for the content straight away and acknowledging that you lose it, which is what buying a subscription in an app store and using it immediately normally involves. Your subscription contract starts when you start the free trial, and the 14 days run from then. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing. If you want to withdraw within 14 days of a purchase, write to legal@heyraava.com and we will deal with your request, although the refund itself is paid out by the store you bought through. ⚠ Exactly how the immediate access waiver works against a store purchase is a question we have not settled yet. Where the law gives you more than this clause does, the law wins.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or data except as permitted by law;
  • interfere with, overload, or disrupt the App or its infrastructure;
  • upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system;
  • misrepresent your identity or your health information in a way that could affect the safety logic of the App;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without our written permission.

Section 9 sets out what you may and may not post in a group or in the shared feed, and it applies alongside this section.

9. Groups, the feed, and how to behave there

These rules take effect on 30 September 2026, fourteen days after they were published, because they ask something new of you. Everything else changed on 16 September 2026 only reduces what we ask of you and applies straight away.

The App has a social side. You can follow people, join a group, see a shared feed of completed sessions, react to them, and report or block someone.

What you share in a group is visible to that group. A group is other people, not a private notebook. Share only what you are comfortable with other members seeing, and think twice before posting anything about your own health.

Do not post:

  • harassment, bullying, threats, or hate directed at anyone;
  • sexual content, or anything involving a person under 18;
  • spam, advertising, scams, or links you would not click yourself;
  • content that impersonates another person, or that pretends to come from us;
  • medical, dietary, or clinical advice presented as professional advice, or presented as coming from Raava;
  • anyone else's personal or health information, including screenshots of it, without their agreement.

Reporting and blocking. You can block another member, and you can report content or behaviour from inside the App. A report comes to us, not to the person you reported.

What we may do. We may remove content, remove someone from a group, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or the law. We do not read or monitor every post, and we do not promise to catch everything, so please use the report tool when you see something wrong. Section 8, Acceptable use, applies to what you post here as well.

10. Your content and data

  • Your content. You retain ownership of the data and content you submit (for example, logged workouts, meals, notes, and metrics). You grant Mana Cores Limited a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free licence to host, store, process, and use that content solely to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
  • Anonymised, aggregated data; product development. We may create and use anonymised, aggregated data to develop new products and services and to improve our existing services and algorithms (under Mana Cores Limited). Anonymised and aggregated means what the Privacy Policy says it means: no user identifier, no device identifier, no free text you wrote, no exact dates, and counts or averages across a group of people rather than a row about any one person. There is no fallback to identified data for this purpose, and cycle, reproductive and pregnancy data are never used for it in any form. We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use your data to train any artificial intelligence model, ours or a vendor's. If we intend to use your personal data in a materially different way, we will give you notice and obtain your consent where required (see the Privacy Policy).
  • Feedback. If you send suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free license to use it without obligation to you.
  • Your rights over personal data (access, export, deletion, and others) are described in the Privacy Policy and are available in the App.

11. Intellectual property

The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, science content, and trademarks, is owned by Mana Cores Limited or its licensors and is protected by the laws that protect intellectual property. We grant you a limited, personal, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own use and not for commercial use, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

12. Services and content from other companies

The App relies on services run by other companies (for example, cloud hosting, AI processing, analytics, error reporting, and billing) and may reference content or food and supplement databases from other sources. We are not responsible for those services or for their content, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and policies. Data from those sources (including nutrition data) may be inaccurate or incomplete.

13. Disclaimers of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP AND ALL CONTENT AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TITLE, AND NON INFRINGEMENT.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, MANA CORES LIMITED DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (a) THE APP OR ITS OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, COMPLETE, SAFE FOR YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES, OR FREE OF ERROR; (b) THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR SECURE; OR (c) ANY RESULT, OUTCOME, OR HEALTH OR FITNESS BENEFIT WILL BE ACHIEVED. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE APP CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HERE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case the exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law (including certain consumer rights).

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • MANA CORES LIMITED, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
  • MANA CORES LIMITED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, OR DEATH ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN ANY EXERCISE, NUTRITION, OR SUPPLEMENT ACTIVITY, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT SUCH LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW.
  • MANA CORES LIMITED'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID MANA CORES LIMITED IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (b) EUR 100.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (FOR EXAMPLE, LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE WHERE IT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, FRAUD, OR CERTAIN CONSUMER RIGHTS). These limitations apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose, and are a fundamental basis of the bargain.

15. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mana Cores Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your misuse of the App, or your use of it for an unlawful purpose; (b) your violation of these Terms or of any law; or (c) your violation of any third party right.

This indemnity does not apply to you as a consumer to the extent the law does not permit it. It also does not cover a health or injury outcome arising from your own exercise, nutrition, or supplement activity. An earlier version of these Terms asked you to indemnify us for that as well. It was the wrong thing for a health app to ask of the person using it, and it was removed on 16 September 2026.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy and the account deletion control in the App). Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 2 to 5 and 9 to 19) survive.

17. Changes to the App and to these Terms

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms; if we make material changes, we will tell you at least 14 days before they take effect (for example, in the App or by email) and, where required, obtain your consent. Your continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

If you do not accept a material change, you do not have to. You can stop using the App and cancel your subscription before the change takes effect. If you have paid for a period you have not received, we will refund the unused part of it on a pro rata basis. You can export or delete your data first, and those tools stay available either way.

If we close Raava. We may stop offering the App. If we do, we will tell you at least 30 days before, in the App and by email. From the closing date no subscription renews and you are not charged again. If you have paid for time after the closing date, we will refund the unused part, or ask the store that took your payment to refund it. Until the closing date you keep full access, including the tools to export your data.

Why this version carries two dates. The agreement as a whole has been in effect since 1 September 2026 and that has not changed. The corrections made on 16 September 2026, including the narrowed indemnity in Section 15, only reduce what we ask of you, so they apply from that date. Section 9, the community rules, asks something new of you, so it takes effect on 30 September 2026, fourteen days after it was published.

18. Governing law and dispute resolution

  • Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to its rules on conflict of laws, and subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
  • Informal resolution first: Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@heyraava.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
  • Arbitration and class action waiver: NOT adopted. These Terms contain no binding arbitration clause and no class action waiver, so nothing here limits how or where you may bring a claim beyond what the law already provides. This is a deliberate decision (1 September 2026) rather than an omission: adopting such a clause is the active choice, and such waivers are restricted or unenforceable in several jurisdictions, including much of the EU and UK for consumers.
  • If you are an EU or UK consumer: nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts. You can also take a complaint to your national consumer authority, or, in the EU, to a European Consumer Centre. An earlier version of this clause pointed you at the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. That platform closed on 20 July 2025, so the reference has been removed rather than left pointing somewhere that cannot answer.

19. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the provision is enforced to the maximum extent permitted.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
  • Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Mana Cores Limited regarding the App.
  • Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Notices: We may give notices through the App or by email to the address on your account.

20. Contact

Version history

Kept because the "Last updated" date alone tells a reader that something changed, not what. A published policy that names a controller, an erasure route and a set of processors should be able to show how each of those has moved.

Date Version What changed
7 October 2026 2.3 You must now be 18 to use Raava. Section 6 sets the minimum age at 18; it was 16, with a parent involved for anyone under the age of majority. Nothing else changed.
4 October 2026 2.2 The free trial is now the app store's, Founder prices never go up, and what happens if we close Raava. New subscribers start a 7 day free trial through the App Store or Google Play, which asks for a payment method. Nothing is charged during the 7 days, and the subscription starts when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. This replaces the 7 days of access the App gave every new account without a payment method, and applies to trials started after this version was published; accounts created before keep what they were given. If you allow notifications, the App reminds you at least a day before the last moment to cancel without paying. Accounts created on or before 31 October 2026, and accounts that enter a club code we have given to a sports club, can subscribe at Founder prices, which do not go up while the subscription keeps renewing. A new paragraph in Section 17 says what happens if we stop offering the App: at least 30 days notice, no charge after the closing date, and a refund of paid time you did not receive. The separate paragraph about promotional store trials is gone, because the store trial is now the only trial. Two doubled words are removed, one in Section 13 and one in Section 14. Section 7 now says that how the immediate access waiver works against a store purchase is not settled yet, where it said the question was with our lawyers.
25 September 2026 2.1.1 The link to our Privacy Policy did not work. The two places these Terms link to the Privacy Policy, the opening section that makes it part of these Terms and the section on what happens to your data when a trial ends, pointed at an address that did not exist on this website. Both now go to heyraava.com/privacy. Nothing else changed.
16 September 2026 2.1 The indemnity asked too much, the social side of the App was not covered at all, and the wrong party was named. The indemnity used to make you cover us for "any health or injury outcome arising from your exercise, nutrition, or supplement activity". That limb is gone. The remaining limbs are narrowed from your "use or misuse" to misuse and unlawful use, and the clause now says plainly that it does not apply to a consumer where the law does not allow it. A new Section 9 covers groups and the feed: what not to post, that what you share in a group is visible to that group, that reporting and blocking exist, that we may remove content or suspend an account, and that we do not read every post. Because that section asks something new of you, it takes effect on 30 September 2026, while the corrections in your favour apply from 16 September 2026; Section 17 explains both dates. Section 7 now sets out the 14 day right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content, how the free trial sits beside it, and that a store refund is paid by the store. Section 17 now says what happens if you do not accept a change: you can stop and cancel, and we refund the unused part of a period you have paid for. And the operative clauses now name Mana Cores Limited, the company you actually contract with, instead of Raava, which is the App it makes.
5 September 2026 2.0.1 The warranty disclaimer and the limitation of liability still disclaimed on behalf of MANA, and were corrected to RAAVA. That is the party giving the disclaimer and the party the liability cap is measured against, so it is recorded here rather than treated as a typo. Notes addressed to our lawyers were also removed from the published text; they were never meant to be part of this document and are kept separately now. ⚠ Recorded on 6 September. These changes went live on 5 September without an entry here and without the "Last updated" date moving, which is exactly what this table exists to prevent.
1 September 2026 2.0 The product was renamed from Mana Unlimited to Raava. Trademark clearance found the MANA name unavailable across the classes covering software, training and nutrition. The controller is unchanged: Mana Cores Limited, same registration, same registered office. Contact addresses moved from @manacores.com to @heyraava.com. Separately: the registered address, governing law (Ireland), contact addresses, minimum age (16) and the liability cap (EUR 100) were filled in, each having been left as a bracketed placeholder in a published document. Arbitration and class action waiver are recorded as NOT adopted.
6 August 2026 1.0 First published version.
